Weekly Update #137 - Happy Easter!
It’s a chance to share News. A post to recap the past week, showcase books and share news about what is coming up for the week on our blog.
Now that's explained, it's on to my weekly recap!
Happy Sunday, folks!
Today, we kicked off the day with an Easter egg treasure hunt where the little dude had to follow a series of clues, each one leading to the next, in order to get to a basket of chocolate goodies.
We've followed that up with a massive Easter lunch and I'm enjoying a cup of tea and 5 minutes of peace and quiet to write this post while the family are chatting in the garden.
(We're allowed up to mingle in groups of up to 6 people outdoors now... Exciting stuff.)
I've made a no-bake cheesecake for dessert so I'll need to re-join them at some point but until then I'll enjoy being warm and not having to socialise!
(The anti-social hermit is even more anti-social and hermit-ish after so many months of lockdown, lol.)
The week leading up to the 4-day weekend has been super chilled. I spent a couple of days in office, we watched multiple Marvel movies (the Captain America ones) and I fangirled myself silly over this week's Falcon and The Winter Soldier episode.
I LOVE Bucky Barnes (aka The Winter Soldier) so I've been in heaven since that show started airing... But I'll stop talking about it or I'll fall down a rabbit hole of fangirling squealing and possibly drooling...
I read a book (gasp!), I organised the house, I played a little Stardew and I finished S1 of The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina.
I'm calling that productive!
Oh! And Mariana Zapata dropped a new book which I grabbed using KU which made me happy.
Basically, I had a good week and fingers crossed that this one will be another.
