It's Wednesday!! You Deserve Each Other & Iron Kissed

Happy Wednesday you lovely bookish people!
I've found a new (to me) meme called Shelf Control and It merges beautifully with Can't Wait Wednesday! Celebrating the books already on my bookshelf alongside highlighting the books I'm looking forward to in the future!
🙂

I got an eARC of this one a while ago and I've been patiently waiting until we were closer to the release date before reading it but I can't wait no more!
I need to read it!

When your nemesis also happens to be your fiancé, happily ever after becomes a lot more complicated in this wickedly funny, lovers-to-enemies-to-lovers romantic comedy debut.

Naomi Westfield has the perfect fiancé: Nicholas Rose holds doors open for her, remembers her restaurant orders, and comes from the kind of upstanding society family any bride would love to be a part of. They never fight. They're preparing for their lavish wedding that's three months away. And she is miserably and utterly sick of him.

Naomi wants out, but there's a catch: whoever ends the engagement will have to foot the nonrefundable wedding bill. When Naomi discovers that Nicholas, too, has been feigning contentment, the two of them go head-to-head in a battle of pranks, sabotage, and all-out emotional warfare.

But with the countdown looming to the wedding that may or may not come to pass, Naomi finds her resolve slipping. Because now that they have nothing to lose, they're finally being themselves--and having fun with the last person they expect: each other.

What are you waiting on this week?

I could smell her fear, and it satisfied something deep inside me that had been writhing under her cool, superior gaze. I curled my upper lip so she could get a good look at my sharp teeth. I might only weigh thirty or so pounds in my coyote shape, but I was a predator...

Mechanic Mercy Thompson can shift her shape - but not her loyalty. When her former boss and mentor is arrested for murder and left to rot behind bars by his own kind, it's up to Mercy to clear his name, whether he wants her to or not.

Mercy's loyalty is under pressure from other directions, too. Werewolves are not known for their patience, and if Mercy can't decide between the two she cares for, Sam and Adam may make the choice for her...

I bought the ebook of this a very long time ago... So long ago, I don't remember exactly when I bought it! I'm sure I could look it up on Amazon but I'm too lazy, lol.
I actually own up to book six in the series but they've just sat on my kindle un-read until this year.
*hangs head in shame*

This series is on my list of series that I want to read this year. I've read the first two and enjoyed them so it's onto book three now!

Mercy is one I'm desperate to read but I heard some spoiler info of something that happens in this book and I'm trying to work my way up to handling it.

    1. Me too! I hope it's good. The already engaged angle gives a little bit more than the typical enemies to lovers I hope!

  3. I like enimies to lovers so I was curious about the first. I didn't have time to read another arc so I didn't accept the request but I'll be waiting to hear what you think of it and if I should read it.

  4. You Deserve Each Other was a solid read for me. It was very War of the Roses in the beginning, but I started to like it more, when they started to reconnect.

    1. I enjoy the War of The Roses! ;) If it gets a bit too much I'll remember your advice and that it calms down a bit as they reconnect. :)

  7. Iron Kissed packs a powerful punch! Sooo good and very intense. Hope you love it. I'm going to start a re-read of the series to join in with Anne @Books of My Heart. It'll be my 3rd time through, that's how much I love the series. The audios are so fantastic!
