Books I Hope to Find Under My Tree

We're almost there! It's almost Christmas!
I know Christmas is about so much more than presents but that doesn't change the fact that I always get so excited about seeing my son's face on Christmas morning.
Since becoming a mum, I've come to care less and less about what's under the tree for me because kiddie excitement and joy reigns supreme but I won't like and say I don't hope for bookish goodies to be present with my name on them!

So, below is a list of books I hope to find under my tree!
I'm not a complete nut, I don't expect all of them to be there, but I've dropped enough hints that I'd hope for some of them! 😉

I already own the first two but I don't own the rest and I'd really like to read the entire series so I'm hoping a nice gift card will be under my tree so I can 1-click guilt-free!

The covers for this series are absolutely stunning in the flesh so I really hope for the full paperback set under my tree... Opening these would bring lots of book crush happiness on Christmas morning!

I listened to the audio of book one, and I can't wait to finish the series!
They're on KU so I could have read them already but I started with the audios so I want to finish with the audios. Therefore, I hope they're under my tree! (Or, you know, some audible credits I don't have to share with the kid, lol.)

I still need to finish the original series but I already know I wanna read this one!

I finally read The Cruel Prince! And I own The Wicked King already so I really need this one to finish the binge read! Fingers crossed for this one!

  3. When we were still doing Christmas as adults, I was more excited watching my parents open their presents! I knew they were going to love what I'd got them so it was great! I so much miss those family Christmas moments but with just me and my dad it wouldn't be the same so we don't bother.

I hope you get the books or gift cards to buy them! Enjoy your Christmas!

  4. There's nothing better than watching kids opening presents. :) I have the e-book version of The Lunar Chronicles, but I would love to find the physical version on my Christmas tree.

    Merry Christmas!

    1. It's awesome watching them. Christmas is so much more fun with kids.

I got Cinder and Scarlet so I'm going to use a little of my giftcard to buy Cress and Winter and finish it off. :)

  7. I'm curious how you like the ending of TCP trilogy. I had conflicted thoughts.

Hope you get awesome books. I still need to read Winter.

    1. I'll let you know! I'm relaxed about it now thanks to your twitter message. Got to say though, I have no idea how it gets to a good ending with the cluster it is at at the end of book one!

  8. Lots of fantasy. I have not read any of these, but my daughter really enjoyed the Marissa Meyer's series. I hope someone gets you some of these.

    1. Yep! I have a feeling that fantasy is going to be my reading theme this coming year as it was this year... It'll wear off eventually and something else will take over, lol.

  9. I actually got the last two books of The Lunar Chronicles around Christmas years ago and yes, they really do look beautiful. Their spines are gorgeous to look at. I hope you'd get these!

    1. I got Cinder and Scarlet! My little dude remembered I wanted them and instructed the professor to buy, lol. Got to love that my kid is a bookworm and remembers mummy's random book ramblings!

    1. Whoo hoo! My mum picked it up for me for Christmas as she saw me eyeballing it in the bookshop. :)
I'm now onto The Wicked King so not too long until I begin reading it.
      Hope you enjoy!
