A super short Sunday Post today!
I've had one of those weeks where I've been busy with work and other bits and haven't had the brainpower or desire to read or blog or do anything but veg in front of the tv in the evenings.
We did go on a trip to Hampton Court Palace on Monday which was fun but that's the highlight of the week.

We've been re-watching The Big Bang Theory from the beginning. It's been a week and we've just finished S2. I'd forgotten how funny the earlier seasons were!
The little dude and I also went to the cinema to see the Dora and the Lost City of Gold and what surprised me was that it was actually pretty enjoyable!

Can't Wait Wednesday!
I'm glad you had a break from your week! I had to take a break as well and went to the mall to distract myself and ignore my responsibilities LOL

Sounds like a plan to me!
DeleteI've definitely had those weeks of just needing some good old TV. Hope this week is better!
ReplyDeleteNatflix&Books
Yep! It's a nice comfort blanket, lol.
DeleteGreat Romance read. If I can recommend a Rom-com series. It would be anything by Sophie Kinsella.
ReplyDeleteI like Kinsella! Can You Keep A Secret is one of my favs from her.
DeleteI was always a Dora fan. My daughter was almost out of the Dora age range, when she to big, but my nephew loved her, so I got to watch it with him.
ReplyDeleteI wasn't a huge Dora fan but I did find it amusing. The movie has lots of little nods to the tv series and is fun!
DeleteThe Big Bang Theory is too funny and the Dora movie looks cute. I've been mainly watching tv in the evenings lately too, work has me tired.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your week ahead!
Work is so draining sometimes. I'm so grateful to the humble binge watch for keeping me sane while exhausted. :)
DeleteSounds like we had similar weeks, Nicci. I was just physically and mentally drained at the end of each day. I sure hope this coming week is easier on us both! I'm hoping to binge the Brooklyn Bruiser series soon. I still have one more book to read in Bowen's True North series before I can move on, though.
ReplyDeleteI just need to read some of the Bowen books I'm buying! lol
DeleteI have so many now...
Some weeks you just have to take time to relax. Hope you find time to read next week.
ReplyDeleteThanks Mary!
DeleteOmg, I know that feeling well. Lately I've either had the desire to read, but no time or the time, but no desire. I want things to settle down and get back to mostly normal. In the meantime, binge watching it is. lol
ReplyDeleteYep! Binge watching saves sanity.
DeleteI liked the Big Bang Theory but I never did watch a lot of it. I should binge it sometime. :)
ReplyDeleteIt's so funny. I'd forgotten so much!
DeleteI hope things calm down for you, soon. π✨
ReplyDeleteI've been thinking about doing a series binge of The Big Bang, too. πΊ
Have a wonderful week. π
Thank you! The Big Bang rewatch is fun! You so should!
DeleteI'm so jealous of your trip to Hampton Court! I've always wanted to go there!
ReplyDeleteIt's so impressive! I hope you get to go someday.
DeleteThis week seems to be a slow week for most bloggers I came across but I'm glad that a lot of you are taking some time to relax. That's important. I'm excited to read your Family Adventures post! You always have such interesting family stories of your trips and they're educational too! Hope you feel better soon, Nicci. *sending you some hugs through the internet* Give yourself some more time to relax if you need to. You deserve some me-time.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the internet hugs!
DeleteI'd like to take my nieces and nephews to see Dora; I'm glad it was a good one. I hope this is a nicer, less stressful week for you!

Dora surprised me! You totally should.
DeleteBig Bang is on every night in syndication here. I wasn't a fan for the longest time but now I think I've seen every episode at least 10 times lol It's just what I have on because I'm too lazy to search for something else and it's funny.
