Here's some I recommend!
(Covers linked to Goodreads.)
Sunny Buzzy Books does not receive payment in exchange for book reviews. However, I do receive free copies of books for review. This does not influence my opinion of the book.
On reviews where I have received a free copy of the book, for the purpose of a review, the source is stated clearly.
All other books that I review have been purchased (by me or for me), gifted to me (i.e won in a giveaway) or borrowed from the library.
Affiliate Links
Sunny Buzzy Books is part of the Amazon affiliate program (.com and co.uk). If you purchase a book through one of these links, you will not be charged anything more than the standard purchase price, however, I will receive a tiny percentage of the sale price from Amazon. Any income received from affiliate purchases helps to support the blog.
Images
I get the majority of my blog images from a variety of sources, all with a creative commons license. My preferred source is Pixabay I then edit them to suit my needs. Please do not use an image from my blog without permission.
Book Covers, I save from Goodreads for the purpose of embellishing book reviews and highlighting the book only.
I also receive promotional materials - teaser images - from authors and publishers that I share to highlight the book. I do not own these images but I share them with permission. Once more, please do not take images from my blog without permission. If you wish to use one, ask.
A book that can't be put down is indeed perfect for rainy days. Happy readings!;)

Perfect excuse to stay indoors!
DeleteI can't believe I *still* haven't read anything by Mariana Zapata. I really need to change that soon!
ReplyDeleteStart with Winnipeg, Aaron or Lukov... She gets better the further up her release list you go, lol. Although, Luna and The Lie was a bit of a step back (still okay but not great).
DeleteI'm going to start having a lot of rainy days living in the PNW now so I need to take note of everyone's rec's. lol

Big change from Florida!
DeleteDo you know this feeling, when you look at someone's list and do not know a single book and author... Seems I just do not enjoy feeling warm and joyful)))
ReplyDeleteLol, I'm sure you do! I often look through people's lists and feel exactly the same because I don't know a single one.
DeleteI would think a book that immediately pulls you in would be a great way to try and forget about the terrible weather and make it pass a little quicker.
ReplyDeleteYep!
DeleteFor me a perfect rainy day read is just whatever I happen to be reading at the time. I don't go for seasonal or weather related reads or anything like that. I just read based on what I feel like reading!
ReplyDeleteThe only seasonal reads I go for are Christmas.
DeleteI need to read some Mariana Zapata novels and Ilona Andrews!
ReplyDeleteGenesis @ Whispering Chapters
I love them both so much!
