TTT: Rainy Day Reads

What is Top Ten Tuesday?

Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January of 2018. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together.

Rainy Day Reads

On rainy days, I love to snuggle up with books that grip me from start to finish. It doesn't matter what genre it is as long as I couldn't put it down and it brings a feeling of warmth and joy.

Here's some I recommend!
(Covers linked to Goodreads.)

(This one makes me feel giddy, swept up in a whirlwind and in love.)

(I've re-read this one into the double digits...)

(Everything by Ilona Andrews)

(Anything written by Mariana Zapata.)

  1. A book that can't be put down is indeed perfect for rainy days. Happy readings!;)

  2. I can't believe I *still* haven't read anything by Mariana Zapata. I really need to change that soon!

    1. Start with Winnipeg, Aaron or Lukov... She gets better the further up her release list you go, lol. Although, Luna and The Lie was a bit of a step back (still okay but not great).

  4. Do you know this feeling, when you look at someone's list and do not know a single book and author... Seems I just do not enjoy feeling warm and joyful)))

    1. Lol, I'm sure you do! I often look through people's lists and feel exactly the same because I don't know a single one.

  5. I would think a book that immediately pulls you in would be a great way to try and forget about the terrible weather and make it pass a little quicker.

  6. For me a perfect rainy day read is just whatever I happen to be reading at the time. I don't go for seasonal or weather related reads or anything like that. I just read based on what I feel like reading!

    1. The only seasonal reads I go for are Christmas.
