Another week and another update that covers two as I forgot to post last week.
In my defence, I was super busy.
Christmas nights out, a hen party, family arriving, finishing up work for the holidays and a wedding kinda dominated all my time.
I wasn't online much and while it was nice to be offline and with my family and friends, I have to admit I missed my laptop, my blog, my blogger peeps and actually having time to read!
It's been ages since I've been able to say I have nothing immediately needing to be done, or haven't been ill and have had the energy to do things!
Now the wedding is done, and I'm back to full health (fingers crossed I stay that way!), I'm ready to chill, enjoy Christmas, blog ahead (for once!) and get into a routine!
Oh, how I crave a nice routine... I'm like a toddler. I need it! lol
The wedding went off without a hitch. I have no pictures yet but once I get some, I'll share.

Life kept me from reading this one as fast as I would have liked but I really enjoyed Luna and the Lie. It has a couple of niggles (mostly towards the end) that kept it from being a 5 star read for me but that doesn't change the fact that it was classic Zapata and a really good read.

I clicked. I read. I liked.
There was nothing else. In two weeks. Shows how busy it's been!
Over the past couple of weeks, I've also watched Arthur Christmas, Elf and How The Grinch Stole Christmas with the little dude but that's it!
This week:
Reader, I Married Him
Blitz: Once Upon The Longest Night Anthology
Last Week:
Giveaway: Midwinter's Eve Giveaway Hop
Cover Reveal: The Hail Mary by Ginger Scott
Top Ten Tuesday: Christmas Movies That Aren't Christmas Movies
Reading Challenge: 2019 Sign Ups!

Coming up next is all the fun 2018 re-cap posts and all the looking forward posts and whatever else crops up!
If you're taking a break over the holidays, Merry Christmas!
I've got to get some films watched this winter. It's crazy how many unwatched I have and how few I'm watching each year! Glad to hear the wedding went well!
ReplyDeleteThanks Chuckles.
DeleteI got through quite a few when ill and it's been easier to watch in the rare downtime lately than read. I usually dont get through more than a couple at Christmas.
Elf is my absolute favorite Christmas movie. My kids were little when it came out and we watch it together every year. It still makes me laugh! Merry Christmas!!
ReplyDeleteElf is going on the seasonal movie rotation for sure! It was so much fun. Merry Christmas to you too!
DeleteLooking forward to the wedding pictures. Have a Merry Christmas.
ReplyDeleteMerry Christmas Mary!
DeleteI have watched Aquaman and I like it too! I missed having time to read too so I'm trying my best to squeeze in whatever time I have to do so. Merry Christmas!
ReplyDeleteMerry Christmas!
DeleteYou've had a very busy time in your life. Enjoy! Thanks for sharing, and for visiting my blog. Happy holidays!
ReplyDeleteIt's been crazy! I'm looking forward to the new year and some calm!
DeleteYou've certainly been busy. I've been watching many Christmas movies and enjoying them. Merry Christmas!
ReplyDeleteMerry Christmas!
DeleteI LOVE Arthurs Christmas. We watched it a long time ago and I have been wanting to watch it again, such a fun movie.
ReplyDeleteHope this week is a little more relaxing for you and not so busy.
Have a great week, Nicci! Merry Christmas!
Thank you!
DeleteGlad the wedding was hitch free and I guess you might get some time to yourself over Christmas to relax and refresh?
ReplyDeleteHope you have a fab Christmassy week :-)
Thanks Stephanie!
DeleteYeah, some chill time before back to work is the plan!
I'm not a DC comics fan...but I am a Jason Momoa fan...so I'm torn. Glad it kept you entertained!!
ReplyDeleteI'm a Jason Momoa fan, not a DC fan. The only DC I'd liked up to now was Wonder Woman but I definitely recommend Aquaman.
DeleteSo glad the wedding went off okay and I very much hope you get some serious R & R over the Christmas holidays and have a lovely time:)
ReplyDeleteThanks! Me too.
DeleteGlad the wedding went well! And hope you have a merry Christmas!!! I keep hearing Aquaman is pretty good...
ReplyDeleteAquaman is my second fav DC movie next to Wonder Woman... It's not saying much considering how bad DC can be but we definitely had fun.
DeleteGlad to hear you're healthy and married. Yeah!!! That's so wonderful!
ReplyDeleteThanks Sam!
DeleteYes, you definitely need it, haha! You've had a crazy few since the last I hopped by, lol. I'm glad to hear you're not ill - I'm hoping it stays that way as well. Hope you have a great holiday!
ReplyDeleteThanks!
DeleteI love wedding pictures! Can't wait.

DeleteWe love the Grinch movie. I like old ones too like White Christmas, It's a Wonderful Life and Miracle on 34th St.
ReplyDeleteCongrats on the wedding and enjoy your holidays! Hopefully you can fit in a bit of read and relax. Anne - Books of My Heart
I haven't watched any of the old ones in a long time. Maybe next year!
DeleteSounds like you had a busy, but fun few weeks. i hope you have more time to read soon. I haven't seen any of the movies you listed, we like to watch Home Alone sometimes around Christmas time, but haven't watched it yet this year. Have a great week!
