Friday the 19th I officially become a home-owner!
It's so exciting.
And I'm so tired.
It's been crazy at work, busy with the little dude's school and we've been under siege with viewings on our current place which is beyond annoying when we're busy with work, family, wedding planning, packing up our bloody house and generally trying to stay sane throughout everything!
Needless to say, I've been pretty absent from the blog, horrible with keeping up with comments, failing miserably at the blogahead and not really reading much.
It sucks but I keep telling myself we're almost done!
We'll have keys Friday (19th) and we'll be moved in by the 4th November.
I can't wait!

Kindle Unlimited

I was excited about this one when it released and finding out it had moved onto KU while on the wishlist was awesome! It's not on the kindle awaiting me...
Arc
I've got enough on without taking on more review commitments but when the publisher reached out about this one I jumped on it! It's going to be emotional... I can already feel the tears.
Luckily, I have until Feb to read it!
I signed up for a blog tour for a book called Vlad. Yep! Urban Fantasy and an interesting twist on Vlad the Impaler. How could I resist?!
But Vlad is book two in the series (and the arcs aren't ready yet) so I was also sent a review copy of book one in the series, Veiled.
Sign up to take part!
Erm, this week I have a book blitz and a Can't Wait Wednesday scheduled. I'm going to try and write some more today and actually get some posts 'banked' for blog ahead too!
Congrats on your move in date! How exciting. Hope it's a fabulous week. :)
ReplyDeleteVeiled looks awesome.
Thanks Greg!
DeleteCongratulations on becoming a home owner! Oh, VEILED looks fantastic! I'll look it up!
ReplyDeleteHere's my Sunday Wrap Up Post. Looking forward to seeing your there. Thank you!
I'm looking forward to Veiled!
DeleteHuge congratulations on the upcoming house move. And cut yourself plenty of slack - not for nothing is it known as the third most stressful life event after bereavement and divorce... In the meantime, wishing you a pot of unexpected free time that you find down the back of the sofa!
ReplyDeleteThanks you!
DeletePacking up your life and moving it is a huge endeavor. Congratulations on your new nest! Have fun making it your home.
ReplyDeleteMy Sunday Post
Thanks! We're so excited. :)
DeleteOh, packing up and moving, not to mention the viewings...you'll be so happy when you're done! November 4 is a goal you can handle!
ReplyDeleteAt the other end, the unpacking will be more fun.
Enjoy your books...The Last Letter looks tempting.
Thanks for sharing...and for visiting my blog.
I know! November 4th is my birthday too so I want to be done and dusted to enjoy it.
DeleteCongratulations on getting a new place! I've two family members that are in the process of selling/buying and it has been a nightmare! Glad to hear your upheaval is almost finished! I'll check out Body Check if it merited a re-read! I signed up for the Black Friday Bonanza too.
ReplyDeleteHere's the Cheddar Cheese soup recipe I've been making for years. It was served at a restaurant I used to go to while growing up. It's sooo good:

Oh thanks for that! It looks fairly straight forward so I'll be giving this a go. :)
DeleteCongrats on the new place! ENjoy your new books and have a great week!
ReplyDeleteThanks Grace!
DeleteI do understand, cause I've been so busy lately too, although with different things! I have to congratulate you about the house though, that's great to hear :)

Congrats and good luck on the move. I'm sure your stress level will be less once you're moved.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on owning a home! I can only imagine how exciting that must be! I enjoy moving and setting up a new home, but I cannot wait to move into one permanently. The military life is always changing, so one day...!
ReplyDeleteLindsi @ Do You Dog-ear?
Congrats on the house! *^-^*
ReplyDeleteYou have a lot on your plate, it's understandable that the blog may be a bit neglected. :)
Have a great week!
Congrats on the home! But wow, you do sound really busy! Hopefully things will calm down soon :-)
ReplyDeleteHow exciting! Soon you will be in your own home. Congratulations! I love Lilo and Stitch. We did a breakfast with them last week, and I realized how longs it's been since I saw that movie.
ReplyDeleteYay for being a homeowner this Friday. Sorry it's been so hectic. I hope things calm down some soon. :)

Congratulations on getting home :) I'll get my own home next year and I can understand the excitement. But obviously, it brings a lot of work and chaos.
ReplyDeleteI hope you settle down soon and get some free and relaxing time :)
Hopefully you'll get settled in soon and be able to get back to a routine - or at least find time to relax.

Ahhh, that is exciting! And tiring, but very much exciting all the same. I'm sure you'll get through it, Nicci! <3
ReplyDeleteI'm very interested in the new Stacey Rourke novel since she's one of the first few authors I read back in my early blogging days and really enjoyed. I'm currently reading her novel Crane. I hope you'll enjoy her latest!
Oh I cannot wait to see what you think of Veiled! The cover is awesome and VLAD THE IMPALER?? YES!
ReplyDeleteCongrats on becoming a homeowner. ;) I hope thinks will slow down for you soon. Good luck and Happy Reading!
