The little dude went back to school and the professor and I got back into the normal work routine.
That is pretty much the totality of my week, lol.

All the feelings for this book, peeps. All the feelings.
It's going on my fav's of 2018 list.
My Review.
Oh dear... I bought lots of books this week.
Saving grace, they were 99 or freebies.
99p Sales
So many lovelies that had been on the Amazon wishlist for months and I got them for 99p!
I had an absolute fucknut try to shame me on twitter for buying them at 99p which pissed me off but I'm pleased with my haul of shiny new reads.

I am in love with this cover. Seriously. It's atmospheric, beautiful and perfect.
It drew me to the book immediately and then the blurb snagged me. Sounds like a beauty and the beast re-telling and I can't wait to get stuck in!
It's going to be one of my autumn reads.
Free

Lots of stuff I'd committed to post... Oh my, this week was a lot of promo.
I need to get a balance back... But, anyways.
Behold this week's blog offerings!
Blitz: Flirting With Forever by Kendall Ryan
Review: Ten Reasons to Stay by Candace Knoebel
Blitz: Vow of Atonement by Emma Renshaw
Double Cover Reveal: Fall by Kristen Callihan and Inked by Drew Elyse
I Heart Characters: Bikers

A much quieter week on the book promo stuff (whew!). I've got a blog tour spot coming up (for Vow of Atonement) and a book blitz for Katia Rose's new release rockstar romance but that's all that's planned so I'll be pantsing the rest of the week.
Haha, my week was also quiet but sometimes we need such weeks :)
ReplyDeleteTen reasons to stay definitely looks interesting. Adding it to my TBR.
Oh wow, you got To Kill A Kingdom? I can't wait for you to read that. That book i fantastic. It is one of my favorites of the year. I really hope you do enjoy it :)
Have a lovely week!
My wrap-up: https://flippingthruthepages.com/2018/09/weekly-wrap-up-1/
I want more weekend sayd. No I demand more weekend days :D so I may read more. I love Guardians of the Galaxy...got two kry chains on them.
ReplyDeleteHave an amazing week!
I am a fan of Candace Knoebel's, but the premise of that book was a turn-off for me. I don't know how I feel about open marriages.
ReplyDeleteSeriously? Someone bashed you for buying books on sale? Nutjob is right. First week back to school is always a little crazy. Glad y'all survived!
ReplyDeleteI'm curious about Ten Reasons To Stay. Enjoy your books, and thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteHere are MY WEEKLY UPDATES
I went and found the Twitter troll. I hate people like that. They just want to cause drama and make other feels bad for no reason. Pay him no mind at all. There's nothing wrong with buying books on sale.
ReplyDeleteTwitter lol- there's always that someone. :) I say sales are GOOD!
ReplyDeleteI haven't seen Avatar in forever.
I still need to watch Guardians of the Galaxy, Vol. 2!! And book sales are awesome - I mean, the PUBLISHER is doing them (or the author, if they are self-published) so nobody should try and shame you for buying them cheap! Sheesh.

Enjoy your new books! Sorry about the Twitter shame. I’m broke and can only afford books when they’re on sale. I’m sure the authors would rather have me buy them on sale than not buy them at all.
ReplyDeleteAj @ Read All The Things!
Ten Reasons to Stay, I'm no sure about reading about an open marriage. I know it has plenty of great reviews. I have to know if she left her husband...ugh
ReplyDeleteTwitter seems so mean sometimes, that is terrible about the shaming. Enjoy all your new reads.
I bet one of those new books will help you unwind after the first week of school. LOL Great deals are always a win and so are freebies!
ReplyDeleteMy Sunday Post
Uh - why would someone shame you for buying sales? Are they CRAZY?
ReplyDeleteTen Reasons to Stay sounds good - not a fan of open marriages but I'd give it a whirl!
Have a great week!
Enjoy all your books and deals! I don't know why they care???
ReplyDeleteKaren @ For What It's Worth
TO KILL A KINGDOM WAS ON SALE???? π Damn it I missed it! The cover to A Curse so Dark and Lonely is lovely.
ReplyDeleteWhy someone would care about your book buying habits flies over my head honestly.
Guardians of the Galaxy is one of the many films I still have to watch! Who does that arse think they are having a go at you for getting book bargains??? There are some right tossers on Twitter these days who need to keep their nose out of other people's business! I think it's great that you got booky bargains!
ReplyDeleteHope the little one is adjusting well to the new school year! I love Brigid Kemmerer, so I'm excited to read A Curse So Dark and Lonely. :-)
