First full week of the school holidays and we've had a good week!
It's been a mix of leave and work and we've made the most of our time off.
We've been to the cinema, an aviation museum, and the beach. We also went furniture (window) shopping to get some ideas for the new house for we're going to need to change out some of our furniture before long... All in all, chilled, fun and lovely!
Next week is mostly going to be work, but with a trip to London to take the little dude to visit the Tower.

Book One was a mixed bag so I figured I'd check out book two before making up my mind on whether to continue this series.

Argh! Excitement overload!
I finally get to read the conclusion to the gripping, sexy and amazing (but mega frustrating!) Blood Type series by K.A. Linde! I'm so happy to have been chosen to be part of the blog tour (again) for I still cannot deal with the last cliffhanger ending... I mean, WTF?! We'll soon find out how that absolute cluster resolves! Oh yes, we will!
When the emotional turmoil of Blood Cure wears off, I'm going to settle in an read rockstar romance (Your Echo) courtesy of Katia Rose and a nice contemporary romance by Kate Angell (recieved via Netgalley).

Sounds like a good week of holidays! Hope the coming one is great too. I still need to see Ant-Man and the Wasp. And good to know that Mamma Mia is good. I'm a sucker for aBBA songs...
ReplyDeleteI like Antman and The Wasp but not as much as I liked the first one.
DeleteWow, sounds like you have been keeping busy.
ReplyDeleteDefo! It's just going to get worse as the months roll on with moving prep too. :/
DeleteI love rocker reads and just started getting in to MC reads. I am a super fan of rocker reads tho. Have a wonderful week!
ReplyDeleteMary

It's just going to get worse as the coming weeks roll on with packing and moving too! :/
DeleteIt sounds like you had the perfect mix of activity and relaxation this week :) I'm not an especially rabid fan of Marvel, so I've skipped the Ant Man movies. I am really looking forward to seeing Christopher Robin sometime soon though—all those feels!
ReplyDeleteI really enjoyed the first Antman but while I enjoyed the second it wasn't a favourite.
DeleteChristopher Robin does look good!
That was a really full-on first week of the school holidays! I hope the trip to the Tower of London is a good one - our little granddaughter absolutely loved it when we took her:). Have a lovely week.
ReplyDeleteIt's been years since I've been to the Tower so I'm really looking forward to going back! It'll be the little dude's first time. :)
DeleteI thought the Tower of London was pretty cool. All those jewels!!! I had my eye on the Kylie Scott book. Sounds like it was pretty good.
ReplyDeleteIt was good Sam, but sadly it wasn't a favourite. :(
DeleteI do like the Tower. I'm looking forward to going back!

ReplyDeleteAj @ Read All The Things!
It's nice living close enough to it to be able to go on day trips without having to put up with the reality of living there. :)
DeleteMy brother keeps urging me to give Black Sails another chance. I probably will. LOL Sounds like you've been having some fun. And getting some great new reads too. Enjoy!
ReplyDeleteMy Sunday Post
It's a bit Meh. I decided I'll watch the second series and see if it gets better but I'm honestly not that enamoured with it. :/
DeleteYour week sounds wonderful and so much fun. Hope you have another great week. :)
ReplyDeleteThanks Jenea!
DeleteOh I have not yet been to London and I really want to go. Looks like some great reading ahead too. I loved Iron & Magic. Great review! I'm following up my read of it with listening to the audio version. It is the best. Anne - Books of My Heart
ReplyDeleteIt's cool living close enough to visit regularly but not have to put up with the chaos of the place permanently! :)
DeleteI do want to see Mamma Mia. I am glad your holiday was lovely. Hope this week was good to you as well!
